The meals served on aeroplanes are prepared by a specialist company which puts them into trays and takes them onboard. Fridges and freezers are available to keep certain meals and drinks for passengers cool. The rest of the space is made up of cupboards to store crockery, cooking utensils and the meals to be prepared.
