The Rockwell Collins SAT-2100B is a compact, lightweight and economic Inmarsat satellite communications system that enables real-time information for passengers and crew. It operates multi-channel voice, facsimile and low-speed PC data capability. The SAT-2100B also enables up to two simultaneous Swift64 or SwiftBroadband channels using its HST-2110B and HCM-2100B companions.

With this system, you can incorporate the traditional functions of the high-power amplifier (HPA), radio frequency unit (RFU) and satellite data unit (SDU) within a single 8 MCU package. It interfaces with all industry standard high-gain antenna systems such as the Rockwell Collins HGA-2100B.

Three Aero channel modules provide the system with Inmarsat’s classic aero H/H+/I service and support essential data communications such as ACARS or AFIS. The SAT-2100B’s architecture allows for continuous operations in the event of a channel module failure.
